13th December 2021 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and mild Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Monday 12th December – walk *** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy and mild. After yesterday’s foil and with the mild weather continuing, I was hoping to get out again today but sadly the wind did not play ball:( The wind now looks to have gone very light now right up until Christmas, getting cooler too so not great! So, we had a morning at home before setting off on our daily walk after lunch walking down to the prom which was fairly quiet. Despite being overcast we had the very light wind on our backs as we set off towards The Fludgers with several ships out to sea. We usually turn at Jacobs Ladder but decided to carry on along the beach then up through the beach huts to conkerland before heading to the town to get a few things before returning home for a cuppa and cake , then light the fire:) Photo Album Here |
